FAQ Frequently asked questions

How does ordering work?

Configure your products, enter your postcode to see the total price, then request a pro forma invoice. We send you the digital proof and the pro forma invoice; production starts once you have approved the proof and paid. Our ordering guide shows every step with screenshots: download the guide (PDF).

What is the minimum order quantity?

Six posts, packed two per box, with each box weighing 18 kg. There are no setup or design fees, and the unit price is the same as for a larger order.

When and how do I pay?

No payment is required when you submit your request. We send you a digital proof of your belt and a pro forma invoice. Once you have approved the proof and accepted the invoice, you pay by bank transfer and we start production. From that point, allow approximately 10 working days for production and delivery.

What file format should I provide?

Ideally, a vector file in SVG, PDF, AI or EPS format. A high-resolution PNG or JPG is also suitable. We check your file and send you a free digital proof.

Is the belt printed on both sides?

Yes. We print both sides using sublimation at no extra cost, even if you want a different design on each side. Specify this in your order, and we will show both designs in the digital proof.

How long does delivery take?

Allow approximately 10 working days after proof approval: 3–5 days for production, plus shipping.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is calculated automatically in the order summary based on your postcode, across six delivery zones, and the order weight. A flat customs clearance fee of CHF 45 is added. No import duty applies. Swiss import VAT of 8.1% is collected by the carrier on delivery.

Do prices include VAT?

All prices are in Swiss francs, excluding VAT. Orders exported to Switzerland are invoiced without Spanish VAT. Swiss import VAT of 8.1% is collected by the carrier on delivery; VAT-registered businesses can reclaim it as input tax. No import duty applies.

Can I order additional belts later?

Yes. We keep your design on file to make reordering quick and easy.

What materials is the post made from?

The tube is made from powder-coated steel. The standard base is made from black ABS with a steel ballast weight, and a coloured steel base is available as an option. The belt reel and the bottom tube plug are made from polypropylene (PP), while the base pads are rubber. The steel can be recycled at the end of the product’s life.

Can I build a queue management system with these posts?

Yes. Belt barrier posts form the queue line at counters, tills or entrances: one post per end and per corner, with 3 or 4 m of belt between them. Against a wall, the wall-mounted belt unit takes the place of a post.
